Two a.m. discoveries

ghost_of_a_flea recently directed me towards a forum he hangs about in, and one of the threads on transgender issues linked me to a page with more articles about transsexuality, cross-dressing, drag and so forth. Now, blond_narcissus is murmuring about having a drag party for his 23rd in September, and I've never done drag before, though I've been to some fabulous drag parties. It'll be a tad tricky, as I'm 5' tall, curvy, and have hair I can sit on. Nevertheless, I have just looked around for some tips, before slinging in my contact lenses and disappearing into my bedroom to rummage around for suitable clothes and make-up experimentation. I am now wearing my jeans (bit tight for a bloke) with a strategically placed sock underneath, a vague attempt at binding which probably still only gets me down to a B cup (apparently bandaging is the way to go), a very old navy and reddish paisley shirt which does at least button up high enough (it'll do at a pinch, though I'll try the charity shops), my navy jacket (the shoulder pads help in particular) left open, and my hair plaited and tucked under my green cord baker boy cap (this will need to be done more carefully, probably two plaits pinned down for reduced bulk). I've used eyeshadow to darken my eyebrows, give myself sideburns and a slim moustache, and hint at five o' clock shadow.

I make rather a cute boy.

Um, bit late now, and the shirts were horribly unironed and the binding was a joke and the eyeshadow was probably applied all wonkily. But I will next time! Assuming this does all happen for blond_narcissus's birthday, there will most certainly be photos then.
