My stairwell is a crime scene

Unfortunately, I'm not joking. It's one of D's days off, so we both had a lie-in until the buzzer rang for the Tesco delivery at 11. The delivery guy took a surprisingly long time to get up the stairs, and when I asked why, he told me that there's probably been a murder in the stairwell. He was chatting to the police, who weren't in black and white so he reckoned they were CID or something. There's a large pool of blood by the main door, a smaller pool next to it, and a trail of blood leading up to the first landing. The delivery guy says he was in the marines for 15 years, he's seen a of blood, and he reckoned it's dark arterial blood. Yikes.

She's much bigger than I thought, considering that she's only just hit 2lb. The parents are coming up for a week on Tuesday and bringing Phoebe with them, so I'll take better photos then.
