Amusing, and also interesting. Apart from having no sense of humour or the practicalities of life, not to mention being nutty, this woman obviously has a lot invested in Christmas trees as a social signifier, associating them with all those myths of family love, joy and so forth, and being outraged if anyone attacks those myths. It's particularly ironic, given that Christmas trees refer to a rather odd story about human sacrifice, and what the tinsel and fairy and such refer to.
