Starting the year the cheerful way

The BBC may have its faults (the media trial for murder of a man who hasn't even been charged yet is dire, and the headline "Disabled MP made a dame" was hastily changed overnight to "Labour MP Anne Begg" - I should damn well hope so!), but you can't fault it when it comes to providing adorable photos and footage of seriously cute beasties. I would therefore like to direct you all to Polar Bears Get the Better of Spycams. If you end up cooing over that as much as I did, go to BBC iPlayer and watch the whole documentary, narrated by David Tennant (in his native accent for once, huzzah). So far I have learned that polar bears scrimble, play with snowballs, and film their young. At that point I decided that it would be unfair to watch the rest without ghost_of_a_flea, especially since a male bear engaged in courtship is starting to remind me of him, so I'm eagerly waiting for him to get home from work.
